CONSTRUCTION OF A BALCONY ON STEEL HULL, 40 M MOTOR YACHT

MAIN ACTIVITIES FOLLOWED:

  • Scanning and surveys for 3D structure reconstruction and subsequent FEM analysis for feasibility assessment and hull intervention methods;
  • Calculations, design and definition of plant – functional, dimensional and aesthetic characteristics of the plant to be built;
  • Dismantling of furniture, insulation and systems from the area subject to intervention (md owner studio, ld guest cabin and ld crew mess);
  • Marking of the processing area and preparation of the same for cutting and subsequent hot working…
  • Realization of hull opening and sheet metal landing;
  • Reconstruction of the entire perimeter and preparation of the new balcony venue;
  • Assembly of mechanical components and pre-assembly of the tilting door;
  • Modification and adaptation of existing systems to a new structure (roads cables, air vents, etc.)
  • Tilting door grounding for painting;
  • Venue preparation, assembly of glass, automatic stainless steel pulpit and various accessories;
  • Installation of electrical and hydraulic system components for running and movement system;
  • Interface with yacht monitoring system;
  • Final assembly of the tilting door on board
  • Completion of the tilting door set-up with installation of teak cladding, courtesy and signal lights;
  • Commissioning and execution of all the system tests with verification of functionality in emergency mode;
  • Completion of furnishings in the areas subject to intervention;
  • Choice, management and control of contractors’ work;
  • Verification of technical requirements and documentary aspects;
  • Coordination and planning of activities on board;
